Hunt Cost

Total price for the package hunt above is $1500, which includes 2 Gobblers, 3 days and nights in our lodge with meals and 3 full days of hunting.


    A non-resident spring turkey license is $120.00. 50% Deposit of the hunt is required to confirm booking the date of your choice. Half of your remaining balance is due on January 1st. The remaining balance is due upon arrival for your hunt. No personal checks are accepted for final balance payment, only cash, money order or certified check will be accepted. You may pay your final balance payment by personal check if we have received it 14 or more days prior to the start of your hunt. Non-hunter fee $125 per day. Due to a limited number of available turkey hunts, there will be no refunds on cancellations.

What We Provide

    In addition to room and board, we provide transportation to and from the lodge to the hunting areas. Our guides are knowledgeable, expert hunters and have scouted and built blinds in the areas you will hunt. You will do your own calling or you may choose to hire a caller for an additional $100.00 per day. They will be able to answer any questions you have

and fill you in on the details of the area you will hunt.
    After you have bagged your turkey, we will clean, bag and freeze the meat for your return home.
    You can bring a cooler or we will have coolers for sale, so you can take your turkey home on the plane as a piece of luggage. This we find is the least expensive way to get your turkey home and to your taxidermist.
    We also provide sodas, bottled water, tea, etc. on your hunt. If you want to drink alcoholic beverages, you must supply your own. Please note: there will be no alcoholic beverages consumed while hunting.

    Rafter W will not be responsible for any change in hunting season dates by the Texas Parks & Wildlife Dept.

    ALL HUNTERS WILL SIGN A LIABILITY RELEASE FORM TO HUNT ON THE RAFTER W RANCHES
