Four day package hunts (1 buck and 2 doe) cost $3,750 per person. A second whitetail buck may be taken for an additional trophy fee of $2,250, but must be booked in advance. A thorough indoctrination will be given on aging deer prior to all hunts. Size - Age - Score will be discussed at length. Any 10 point and above buck not scoring 120 B & C inches will be fined $500.00. This will be strictly enforced.
A javelina may be taken for an additional $500. One turkey may be harvested for an additional $300. Late season doe hunts are available for $200 per day plus $50 per doe kill fee.
Non-hunter fee $125 per day. $1,000 deposit is required to book a hunt, $1,000 is due on June 1, and the balance is to be paid in camp on arrival. No one will be booked without deposit. Deposit can be refunded in full until June 1. No personal checks accepted for final payment. All hunters will sign a Release of Liability.
Non-Resident "All Inclusive" hunting license cost is $300 plus a $7 turkey stamp. All hunters are guaranteed a license over the counter. Rafter W assumes no liability for late changes in fees and dates set by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Dept.
This is a 2 on 1 guided hunt. One on one is $500.00 extra. Deer will be caped and horns packaged for return on plane, skinning and quartering included. Deer will be cut into steaks, wrapped, and frozen for return on plane for approximately $65.00 per deer. Hunter must furnish cooler. Coolers available at ranch at our cost.
Exotic deer (Axis, Sika, Fallow, Black Buck) run $1500 and can be arranged at hunter's request. Exotic animals before and after fall rifle season will be at the rate of $300/day with a $2400 kill fee.
Any wounded game will be considered the shooter's trophy animal. Total effort is used to find wounded game. Outside blood trailing dogs will be called if requested by hunter. If game is shot at and presumed missed, a through search will be made before hunting is resumed.
No smoking in the lodge, hunting vehicles, or blinds.
No alcohol during hunting hours.
Tips are customary and not considered part of the hunt cost. Recommended amounts are 7 to 10% for guides, 2 to 5% for cooks. These recommendations are for the total cost of the hunt.
